This is the year! Michael and Laurie Wilcox go to the Tony Award Winning Shakespeare Festival in Cedar City every year. Some years are better than others. We have wanted to put together a special Shakespeare experience for our guests, but only on a very strong year. Michael has been reviewing each up coming year to see when the right year would be to bring a group. Well 2010 is that year. Michael feels the 2010 Shakespeare Festival has one of the strongest line-ups of big name authors offered in years.

We have Michael on a very hectic schedule next year. He is almost spending more time out of country with Fun For Less Tours than time at home. But with such a strong Shakespeare Play line-up, Michael felt 2010 is the year he should host our Fun For Less Tours Shakespeare Celebration in Cedar City.









 

Michael will be studying each of the plays at the Festival in preparation for our group. He will also go to Cedar City a few days before we arrive to attend the different plays. This way he can give us the best insight into what we will see and experience before we go to each performance.

Our Shakespearean Celebration includes the following:

3 nights in the Marriott Springhill Suites. Every hotel room is a suite, arguably the best hotel in Cedar City

All six plays in the premiere seating (not too close and not too far away) – the best seating

All Shakespeare plays are in the Adam’s outdoor theatre under the stars!

Except for the first night, when everyone will be arriving at
separate times. All breakfasts, lunches and dinners are included

•   Prop seminar & costume seminar

Private Lunch at Rusty’s Ranch House, opened only for us, where we will enjoy salmon, ribs or chicken

Why we are not traveling by bus: The price from Salt Lake City, driver accommodations and drivers meals, cost almost $100 per person. We felt most of you could drive to and from Cedar City for around $50. With so many of our passengers coming from other cities and states, we just felt it would work better having you drive to Cedar City. We also felt many of you may want to stay Saturdaynight before returning home. Optional Extension: We have reserved hotel rooms and tickets for any of our group that would like to spend Saturday night attending the Broadway Show Cats at Tuacahn, an outdoor theater in the canyon. It is about 45miles from your suites hotel in Cedar City.
